How Epoxy Flooring Victorville Works

Epoxy Flooring Victorville coats concrete floors in Victorville and across the Victor Valley: garages, patios, pool decks, workshops and commercial floors in Apple Valley, Hesperia, Adelanto and the surrounding High Desert. We install epoxy, flake broadcast, metallic and polyaspartic systems, and we choose the system once we have stood on the slab.

The High Desert is hard on resin coatings in its own way. Victorville averages about 109 days a year at 90 degrees or hotter and about 79 nights at freezing or below. A garage slab that bakes in the afternoon and chills overnight moves more than a slab in a mild coastal town. Sun through an open garage door yellows plain epoxy. Hot tires can lift a thin coating. Wind carries fine grit that will stick to any wet coat it lands on. Each of those shapes how we prep, which products we use and what time of day we pour.

How we work

  • We measure the floor and look for cracks, old paint or sealer, oil, and low spots.
  • You get a written quote naming the system, each coat, the prep work and the price.
  • The slab is diamond ground so the coating bonds to open concrete.
  • Cracks, chips and pits are filled before the first coat.
  • In summer we start early to stay inside the product's temperature range. In winter we check the slab temperature before we mix.
  • We keep doors closed during application when wind is up, and we tell you when you can walk, move things back and park.
  • Any change in scope is written up for your approval before we do it.

We only coat concrete. If a slab has a problem a coating will not fix, such as a heaving section or a crack that keeps growing, we say so before you pay for a floor.
